Week 22!

Howdie! Tim and I just got back after spending some time in Shreveport, LA for my cousin Stacy's wedding. It was a lot of fun and so great to be with all of our family from my Dad's side.

Due to my flight being canceled on the way there, I was lucky enough to be able to go to the hospital to see my cousin Tristi's new baby! He is the most adorable little guy: Abraham Tripp Marshall. It will be so much fun having our two boys grow up together.

It's hard to believe that I'm already at 22 weeks. Here is an updated picture of my belly.... The pregnancy continues to go smoothly. I am just adjusting to sleeping on my left side and getting up several times every night to go to the bathroom. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints. We are very excited about the baby boy news and are constantly brainstorming boy names. Let us know if you have any recommendations.

Recent events

It has been a busy and fun week! Dena Bermann was in town from Chicago....so wonderful to see her.

Then I went to Montara Lighthouse on Highway 1 along the ocean for a kick off retreat with my awesome Area Director Team!

Tim and I just got back from celebrating my boss's, Glen Tripp, 40th birthday at beautiful Costanoa. Here is a picture of Glen and his wife Lauren and a pic of Tim and I. It was a nice getaway!

I leave for Shreveport, LA Tuesday morning and then Tim will join me on Saturday for my cousins wedding. We can't wait to see all of the familia down South.

Pics of our new home!

Things are looking promising for us to get our new home at 5980 Majestic Avenue in Oakland! We'll probably move in the 2nd weekend of October. Here are some more pictures of the house. Enjoy. (I have to post one pic at a time....sorry)

We're having a baby boy!

Tim and I just got back from our 20 week ultrasound appointment and now we know that we're definitely having a boy! Ileana, our ultrasound technician, said that he was definitely not shy about showing us his penis. :-)

Our potential new home

Greetings! We are very excited to share that we just got our offer accepted on a home that we love in Oakland. We are trying to get the home inspection set up for some time this week. Assuming that goes well, we'll move forward and hopefully close by the beginning of October! This home has just been totally remodeled and has so much character. We'll post more pics later. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well.


Everything is going great on the baby side of things. I am starting to feel the baby more consistently now, which is exciting. All test results are in and the baby is looking happy and healthy so far. We can't wait for our 20 week ultrasound appointment next week. We'll send the news as soon as we know the gender.
